Austenwood Residents Explore the Natural History Museum

Residents from Austenwood Care Home visited the Natural History Museum this week for a memorable day that left plenty to talk about long after they got home.

The group made their way through the exhibits, taking in the famous blue whale, the dinosaur skeletons and everything in between. The residents had plenty of conversation along the way with lots of curiosity and laughter.

Getting out and about, staying engaged and spending quality time together make a real difference to our residents’ daily life at Austenwood and it was a pleasure to see everyone enjoying themselves so much.

We always encourage our residents to be curious and explore new things and a trip to one of the world’s greatest museums turned out to be just the place for it.
