Residents Call The Shots At Austenwood's Pirate Spring Party
Austenwood Care Home in Gerrards Cross recently threw open its doors for its spring party, and this year it was the residents who set the theme.

The residents had an idea for a pirate-themed party and the home was transformed for the occasion, with nautical decorations, costumes and themed touches throughout.

Colourful and fun, it made for a brilliant atmosphere, and judging by the smiles on the day, the residents’ idea was a great choice.

The party brought together residents, families, friends, local professionals and members of the wider community, which is always one of the highlights of events like this. Austenwood loves to see the home filled with familiar and new faces alike, all sharing a good afternoon together. As always, there were plenty of laughs along the way too.

Live entertainment kept the energy up throughout, with music and performances that had people singing and dancing and joining in from all corners of the room.

It was a really lovely day, and a reminder of the wonderful community that surrounds and supports everyone here at Austenwood.
