Celebrating Mother’s Day at Austenwood
Austenwood Care Home marked Mother’s Day 2026 with an afternoon tea that brought residents and their families together for a lovely celebration.
Our team decorated the dining room with pink bunting and balloons and laid the tables with floral cloths, tiered cake stands and proper teacups. Families joined residents for the afternoon, and there was certainly no shortage of tea, cake or conversation.
It was a gorgeous way to spend Mothering Sunday and a really nice opportunity for everyone to sit together and celebrate the special women in our community.
